Johnny Rowland

Johnny Rowland is from rural northwest Louisiana and grew up on a farm shooting guns and enjoying the outdoors in general.  An accomplished athlete and musician while in school, Johnny’s favorite collegiate subjects were mechanical engineering and military armaments.   Embarking on a career of professional entertainment and marketing, he has gone on to produce and host over 800 national television programs, including “The Shooting Show” series and “Guns and Gears” tv along with over eight years of nationally broadcast talk radio involving firearms issues.  He has developed a number of gun related products and improvements including the world famous 460 Rowland cartridge and several types of firearms chambered for it.  He continues to work on new concepts and ideas which will be useful for the shooting public as well as military and police applications.
